This online ethics course reviews codes of ethics, patient confidentiality law, sign-in sheet restrictions, disposal of health records requirements, and scope of practice regulations. Universal ethical concepts explored include a patient’s right to self-determination, access to healthcare, and supererogation. In addition, ethical concerns from three famous Chinese medicine physicians (Chen Shih-kung, Sun Szu-miao, Kung Hsin) are presented.
