About the Course Content:
PID biomedicine diagnostics and treatments are presented. Participants review the main types of PID including cervicitis, oophoritis, salpingitis, broad ligament infections and endometritis.
Chinese Medicine diagnostics and treatment principles are presented for PID. Chinese Medicine herbal formulas for PID treatment with syndrome differentiation are presented. An analysis of individual herbs and their functions within the formulas are presented. Acupuncture points for the treatment of PID are also reviewed.

This course covers acupuncture, herbs, Chinese medicine theory and ‘western’ biomedicine diagnostics for the treatment and prevention of pelvic inflammatory disease (PID). Herbal formulas the treatment of lower abdominal pain & leukorrhea plus complications ectopic pregnancy and infertility are presented and carefully reviewed.
