Researchers at Xinghua Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital conducted a clinical trial to investigate the benefits of including acupuncture as supplementary therapy in the rehabilitation of stroke survivors. The results of the trial indicate that the inclusion of acupuncture significantly improved patient outcomes.
