North Carolina Acupuncture CEUs

HealthCMi acupuncture continuing education online courses are valid for NCALB (North Carolina Acupuncture Licensing Board) acupuncturist license renewal credits and NCCAOM (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine) PDAs. All HealthCMi courses are NCCAOM AOM-core approved.

NCALB (North Carolina Acupuncture Licensing Board) has a special 15 hour AOM-AC requirement for CEUs. This is a special category of Acupuncture (AC) specific NCCAOM approval and HealthCMi has many courses that provide these credits, here are a few examples:

North Carolina regulations state that all NCCAOM approved acupuncture continuing education courses are valid in North Carolina. All HealthCMi courses are NCCAOM approved and are valid in North Carolina for acupuncture continuing education credit (CEUs). The following is information from North Carolina regulation #21 (NCAC 01.0301 and .0201) and the NCALB:

• North Carolina acupuncturists “shall complete 40 Continuing Education Units (CEU) every two years”
• “Licensees may obtain up to 28 hours of CEUs by completing online courses”
• “A licensee may apply to the Board for an extension of time to complete continuing education requirements”
• “Biennial Renewal. A licensee shall renew his or her license by the second July 1 following initial licensure and thereafter renew his or her license by July 1 every two years”
